A decade has gone by since Goku parted ways with his loved ones to refine his abilities. However, he quickly becomes vulnerable to the magical influence of the Dragon Balls due to an unintended wish by the cunning Emperor Pilaf, who wishes for Goku to revert to childhood. Undeterred by this unexpected challenge, Goku teams up with Trunks and his granddaughter Pan to embark on a journey across the cosmos in pursuit of the enigmatic Blackstar Dragon Balls. These Dragon Balls harbor a deadly secret: if they are not gathered within a year, Earth faces annihilation.
