Set in the 1960s and 1970s, this film explores the harrowing journey of a young Nigerian boy, Enitan, who is “farmed out” by his parents to a white British family in hopes of a better future. As Enitan grows up, he struggles with identity and belonging, eventually becoming involved with a skinhead gang. The movie is directed by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, who draws from his own life experiences to tell this poignant story.
