Another Day of Life

In 1975, seasoned Polish journalist Ryszard Kapuściński undertook a perilous journey into the midst of Angola’s civil conflict. During his time there, he confronted the grim truths of warfare and experienced a profound sense of powerlessness that was new to him. This experience in Angola transformed him deeply: he departed Poland as a journalist and came back as a writer.
